I am pleased to inform you all that on behalf of Initiatic School Dr. Anju Yadav, Dr. Bir Singh Yadav and myself have participated at a Psychiatry Conference (2 day event) at Bahraich, Luchnow, India. This location is very close to Sravasthi (famous for many Buddhist monasteries from Sri Lanka, China, Myanmar, Korea, Thailand, Etc as Buddha spent 24 years teaching Buddhism here)
I was a chairperson for a talk on “Spirituality in Clinical Practice: Caveats” by Dr. Avdesh, who is playing a prominent role in incorporating Spirituality into Psychiatry and works at a national level.
Dr. Bir Singh Yadav and Dr. Anju Yadav have played a crucial role towards this first outreach from Initiatic School and I am so thankful towards them.
We have even presented Torkom Sir’s book “Science of Meditation” to the President of IAPP (Indian Association of Private Psychiatrists), Dr. M.S. Reddy, Asha Hospital, Hyderabad.
